Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?” – Albus Dumbledore

Robert G. Culp was born in the small town of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and developed a love for writing in a creative mind that was nurtured through homeschooling. He currently lives alone, with his six dogs and one cat.

Robert’s love of writing was inspired by his enjoyment of TV shows, movies, and the endless fantasy books and comics he reads, so it seemed like a natural progression to write some of his own.

His books, The Mystic Brat Journals, now boasts three titles in the series and he is currently working on the fourth. The books follow the students at a top-secret government school, where teenagers are taught to fight the mythical, mystical, and cursed dangers that surround the world.

Robert’s short story, Mirrorville, is also set within the same continuity as the Mystic Brats series.

In his free time, Robert enjoys binge-watching his favorite TV shows and films,  reading Urban Fantasy books, comic books, and online fanfiction.

He loves doing research on Greek mythology, supernatural legends, and Arthurian lore to try to decipher what influenced these beliefs and ideas.

His hopes for the future are to one day open his own traditional publishing house, see one of his books adapted for the screen, or win a prestigious award.

For the most part, however, he just wants to make his readers happy and help them through a tough time by allowing them to immerse themselves in one of his books for a few minutes of pure escapism.
